Founder story
My story
I'm a homeowner and a property manager. I'm handy (at least I try to be), and I'll happily spend a Saturday swapping HVAC filters or patching drywall. But knowing what needed doing, when, and who should handle it at each property? That was never my strong suit. Remembering tasks at my own house was hard enough. Keeping up with tenants at the rentals I managed was even harder.
So stuff slipped. Calendar alerts I'd swipe away. Sticky notes that didn't stick (ironic). Filters, lawn care, gutter checks. They'd pile up at my house and across my rentals until something broke or my place started making “That Noise” at 2 AM. I'd call pros to fix problems a little follow-through could've prevented. Expensive. Frustrating. The work itself wasn't the hard part. Remembering to nudge the right person at the right time was.
I built HomeWise Agent for that gap: set reminders once, send them automatically to you and your tenants, and mark tasks done from a text or email without chasing anyone.
Then we added Homie for the questions reminders can't answer: is this urgent? What should I do? When? What should it cost? It's the tool I wish I'd had back when I was the one dropping the ball.
